Frequently asked questions
Any iPhone or iPad that runs iOS 16 or later works, and devices that run iOS 26 or later are recommended. For a photo booth, pick an iPad from 2020 or newer. For a 360 spinner, use an iPhone newer than the iPhone 11 with an ultra-wide rear camera, which records slow motion at 120 fps.
Touchpix needs Android 12 or later. It has been tested on devices such as the Google Pixel 6a to Pixel 9, the Samsung Galaxy S21 to S23 Ultra, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and the Galaxy Tab S8. Android hardware varies a lot, so the safest check is to install the free app on your own device.
Yes. On iPhone and iPad, Canon, Nikon and Sony cameras connect by cable or Wi-Fi, and Fujifilm, Olympus and Panasonic cameras connect over Wi-Fi only. On Android, Canon and Nikon cameras connect by USB cable. On a Mac, connect the camera over Wi-Fi. Support on Windows and Linux is in development.
The GoPro HERO8 to HERO13 Black record at 120 fps, and the HERO7 works but isn't recommended. A cable connection needs a HERO10 Black or newer. GoPros work with iPhone, iPad and Android 13 or later. They aren't supported on Windows or Linux, and Mac support is in development.
