Closing an event will make sure that the sharing queue is fully sent out and that the photo and video files are in the web gallery as a back up. This will also make sure the files are deleted from the app to keep the app clean and stable, after backing up the files on the Touchpix server.

1. Open Touchpix on your device.
2. Tap on ‘Settings’ button or event’s logo in the upper left-hand corner.
3. Tap on ‘Close Event’.
4. Go to your events page in Touchpix.com, look for the QR icon for the event and click on it.
5. Show the QR code to the phone’s camera.
6. Wait until the sharing queue is finished (all cloud uploads and sharing methods have been sent).
7. Tap ‘Close the event’ button.
8. Select to close the event in ‘Fully close event’

Your event is now closed and a new one can be activated in your device.
