Your pre-event test checklist
Work through these steps during your trial, with the same equipment you'll take to the venue. Tick each one off as you go: your progress is saved in this browser.
Use the exact phone, tablet or computer you'll run at the event, not a spare. Download the app and sign in with your Touchpix account.
Pick the same session type you'll offer (photo, GIF, boomerang or video) and the same layout, so the test matches the real job.
Open the event's QR code in your Touchpix account and scan it with the app to load the event onto the device.
Start with the device's built-in camera: take a few shots from where the booth will stand. Using a DSLR, mirrorless camera or GoPro instead? Connect the exact model you'll bring on the day and confirm the app controls it.
Go from the start screen to the final file as a guest would, then check the overlay, the framing and the quality of the result.
Share a result by QR code, email, SMS or WhatsApp over a connection like the venue's. We recommend an upload speed of 15 Mbps or more. Without internet, messages wait in a queue until you're back online.
Check that the plan you choose includes the session types you tested and enough active events for your bookings.
