Printing Servers – Simple and powerful printing solution

Touchpix offers multiple printing solutions. In addition to the Printpix box, we also provide Windows and Mac Print Servers. These are the new improved versions of our print servers and include several enhancements not available in the older solution.

New features
  • Online synchronization – Automatic printing directly from the cloud as soon as the photos are ready.
  • Multiple print formats – Easily print in different sizes and layouts from the same event.
  • Offline printing via local network – No internet connection required; everything works smoothly on your local Wi-Fi.
  • Kiosk mode – Allow customers or staff to reprint photos directly from the computer running the server.
  • Real-time log – A detailed live log that shows connected devices, print jobs, and any issues for quick and easy troubleshooting.
How to connect the Print Server to Touchpix
  1. Download the latest Print Server for Windows or Mac from the Download Resources page.
  2. Install and launch the Print Server application on your computer. Connect your printer and make sure the latest drivers are installed.
  3. The server will show 'Server is running…' along with the local network IP address.
  4. Ensure your Touchpix device (iPhone, iPad, Android, Mac or Windows) is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the computer running the Print Server.
  5. Open your Touchpix app.
  6. Tap on the upper left menu icon and then tap 'Settings'.
  7. Navigate to the 'Printing' section using the left and right arrows and select 'Print'.
  8. Tap on 'Printing Connection Type' and select 'Network'.
  9. Tap on 'Connection Handling' and select 'Manual IP'.
  10. Enter the IP address displayed by the Print Server and tap 'Connect'. Once connected, the button will change to 'Disconnect'.
  11. Add margins if desired.
  12. Start your photo sessions and enjoy reliable printing!

Note: The Windows and Mac Print Servers work exclusively with the Touchpix app. The photo-taking device and the computer must be on the same local network. Printer detection depends on the drivers installed on your Windows or Mac computer, so make sure to install those first.

These Print Servers support a wide variety of printer brands, including HITI, DNP, Sinfonia, Citizen, Mitsubishi, FujiFilm, Sony, & Shinko (depending on the drivers installed on your computer).
