GoPro issue ‘We couldn’t stop the session. Do you want to retry or cancel the session?’

There are different scenarios in which this alert message can show up.

  1. Verify the GoPro shutter button is not being pressed accidentally.
  2. Open Touchpix on your device.
  3. Open the side menu and locate ESSENTIALS settings group.
  4. Select on ‘Camera’ option.
  5. Tap on GoPro.
  6. Disable the option ‘GoPro 7 Legacy Mode’.
  7. Try to connect the GoPro without the GoPro Quik app after that, just with the Touchpix app.

Note: The error can also be triggered if your GoPro is uploading files to the official GoPro cloud
